Today I have the distinct pleasure of introducing The 5 Boroughs Blog. My goal is to provide useful information about New York City that readers of this blog can rely on. I’m a licensed real estate salesperson with Platinum Drive Realty, a full service real estate firm assisting clients with properties throughout New York City, Westchester and Connecticut. I chose to work with Platinum Drive Realty because the firm was created out of a belief that real estate should be a rewarding, professional and first-rate experience, with highly personalized, outstanding client service. This approach has proven to be effective for the firm. In 2014, Platinum Drive was honored by the Inc. 5000 as one of the 1000 fastest growing companies in America and the fastest growing real estate brokerage firm in the State of New York and Westchester County.

As a life-long resident of New York City I’m passionate about the 5 boroughs. I was born and raised in Manhattan, attended high school at the Fieldston School in Riverdale which is in the north Bronx, and decided to stay in New York City to attend college at New York University’s Stern School of Business located in the heart of Greenwich Village. Prior to working in real estate I had successful careers in both the video game and music industries. I was drawn to real estate because I enjoy working with people.

Assisting individuals and families with making what often-times is the biggest purchase of their lifetime is very gratifying. Living and working in New York has made me familiar with the benefits of city living as well as the unique aspects of buying property and living here. As a licensed real estate salesperson I have dedicated myself to providing my clients with the knowledge, insight and the full accessibility necessary to buy or sell property in the city that never sleeps.

The 5 Boroughs Blog will be a destination for all things related to living in New York City. It is designed to be an accessible hub for information about the vast and unique experiences that make New York City the melting pot that it is. The posts will serve as a resource for anyone interested in the multitude of neighborhoods that make up our great city.

In the coming days, weeks and months I’ll be adding new site features and fine tuning the 5 Boroughs Blog experience. However, I need your help as we evolve and grow. Please leave comments to let me know how I’m doing, suggest stories you’d like to see, and share your thoughts on how I can improve the site.

In the meantime, be sure to explore all of the recently published content and come back to see new updates.
